About: Elevated above the Sydney Skyline is the Sydney Tower observation deck with it’sthe breathtaking view.  Enjoy watching the sky light up with magical colours as the sunsets over the iconic Blue Mountains with your partner and then go down to the restaurant and enjoy a romantic meal overlooking the light of Sydney.  What a wonderfully romantic date! History: The Sydney Tower in it’s 30 years has been referred to by a number of different name;  Centrepoint Tower, AMP Tower, Westfield Centrepoint Tower or Sydney Skytower, amongst other names, and is an integral part of the famous Sydney skyline.

  • North: the Harbour’s shoreline and beyond in all of it’s glorious beauty.
  • South Sydney Airport and historic Botany Bay beyond.
  • East: Sydney Party district followed by the beach side and the never-ending view of the Pacific Ocean.
  • West: The western suburbs in the foreground with the Blue Mountains as a stunning backdrop.

Opening Hours: Open 9:00am to 10:30pm daily (every day except Christmas Day) Things to Bring:

  • Camera
  • Binoculars (if you have them for a better view)
  • Food and drink; there is food and drink facilities available at the Sydney Tower
  • ATM – Facilities available in the area.

 

How to get there:

  • Train: A short easy walk from Town Hall and James Street Stations.
  • Bus: Any service along George Street (alight at the Queen Victoria Building), or Elizabeth Street (alight at St James Station or Hyde Park)
  • Parking: Pay only $10 for the day to park in Sydney at these secure car parks: 383 Kent St,  2 Market St, and 321 Kent St
  • Walk:In the centre of Sydney, on the corner of Pitt St Mall and Market St.
