About: If you are looking for a fun day out that is educational as well then you can’t go past the Sydney Aquarium, with over 12,000 aquatic animals from 650 species from around the world it is truly spectacular. As you wander through the underwater tunnel you will be amazed as you gaze into a different world.

So of the amazing underwater that you can see are: sharks, rare dugongs, elusive platypuses, beautiful seahorses, giant turtles, jellyfish, thousands of tropical fish, gigantic stingrays, and much, much more.

10:15am – Penguin Talk
10:30am – Dugong Talk
11:00am – Great Barrier Reef Talk
3:00pm – Penguin Talk + Feed
3:15pm – Dugong Talk
3:45pm – Great Barrier Reef Talk

Opening Hours:

Open every day of the year from 9am until 8pm (except Christmas and New Years Eve see below)
Christmas Day: Open at 9 am and closes at 5pm (last entries are 4pm).
New Year’s Eve: Open at 9am and closes at 6pm (last entries are 5pm).

How to get there:

Train: A short easy walk from Town Hall or Wynyard stations.
Bus: Sydney Explorer Bus Stop No 24, or hop off any bus service in that city that drops near Market Street or King Street and take the short walk down to Darling Harbour.
Ferries: There are regular services to and from Circular Quay on the following routes; Darling Harbour/East Balmain, Woolwich/Balmain and Parramatta. 5- 10 minutes walk from Circular Quay.
Parking: Pay only $10 for the day to park in Sydney at these secure car parks: 383 Kent St, 2 Market St, and 321 Kent St
Walk: 5-10 minute walk from CBD down Market Street or King Street.
