About: Situated in the heart of Hyde Park Sydney is NSW State War memorial that is dedicated to all Australians who have served their country in war. This wonderful building was completed in 1934 and was designed by Mr Charles Bruce Dellit who won the competition to design the building.
This is a wonderful place to reflex on our history. The structue is also worth a visit at night as the reflection in the pool is a wonderful site. Take a picnic and stroll through Hyde Park as you enjoy a great part of Australian history.

How to get there:
Trains: The nearest train stations are St.James, Museum and Town Hall. Each are an easy and mostly level seven minute walk.
Buses: The Park is on the Hop-on Hop-off bus route and is a seven minute walk to the centre of the city. For George Street bus services, get off at Town Hall and walk east along Park Street.
Parking
Metered street parking is available on the streets around Hyde Park.
