About: The Sydney Opera House is an iconic symbol of Australia and is one of the most famous and recognizable buldings around the world. Whether you take in a show or simply sit on the steps and admire the amazing view of the harbour the Sydney Opera House is an amazing place not to be missed.
Proudly it is now listed on the world heritage list with this being said about it: “Sydney Opera House is a great architectural work of the 20th century. It represents multiple strands of creativity, both in architectural form and structural design, a great urban sculpture carefully set in a remarkable waterscape and a world famous iconic building.” UNESCO
The Sydney Opera House comprises of 6 different venues which are: Concert Hall, Opera Theatre, Drama Theatre, Playhouse, Studio, Utzon Room, Forecourt and Recording Studio

Bus, Train and Ferry Information
Circular Quay is the closest public transport terminal and buses, trains and ferrys all stop there. Circular Quar is an easy 5 to 7 minute walk to the Sydney Opera House.

A complimentary shuttle bus service is available and has been put in place to assist the elderly and the less mobile customer, it has limited seating and works on a first come, first served basis (you cannot book tickets on the shuttle bus)
